1. Who this policy covers

This page explains how RelaxPlayer, a project by SYNTHLUCIDA, handles data when you visit relaxplayer.eu or use the RelaxPlayer app (including the version distributed through the Microsoft Store). RelaxPlayer does not require an account, so most of what is described below stays on your own device rather than on a server.

2. What is stored on your device

RelaxPlayer uses your browser's local storage and, where supported, offline caching (via a service worker) to remember things without needing an account. This can include:

This data is kept locally in your browser or device storage. It is not something we can see or access remotely, and it stays until you clear your browser data or uninstall the app.

3. Community chat

If you use the community chat, the message you send and a short-lived session identifier are processed so the message can be shown to other people listening at the same time. Chat messages are not intended to be kept longer than needed for this real-time purpose, and you should avoid sharing personal information in chat messages, since they may be visible to other listeners.

4. Cookies

RelaxPlayer does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only "cookie-like" mechanism in use is local storage, described above, which exists purely to make the player remember your preferences between visits — not to track you across other websites.

5. Third-party services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading these fonts may share your device's IP address with Google as part of the standard font request. If you download the app through the Microsoft Store, that installation is additionally subject to Microsoft's own privacy policy for that store.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection — Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů). Since most RelaxPlayer data lives in your own browser, you can exercise many of these rights directly by clearing your browser's local storage or site data.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time as RelaxPlayer changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent via the contact details listed on the SYNTHLUCIDA project page.
